Robin Nielson-Cerquone

National Grants Specialist at Friends of the Children

Robin Nielson-Cerquone lives in Missoula, Montana. Robin grew up in Havre, Montana, before leaving the state for her undergraduate degree at Carleton College in Minnesota and a master's in Journalism from UC Berkeley. During her college summers, she happily pumped gas and changed oil at the gas stations in Yellowstone National Park. After her grease monkey career came to an end, Robin's work life has involved writing of all kinds, including stints as a technical writer, a provider of web content, and an all-purpose writer of reports, surveys, and grants. Robin's most recent jobs include Accreditation Coordinator for the Missoula City-County Health Department, where she led cross-sector collaborations and wrote reports and grants for work on community issues, and the Center for Children, Families and Workforce Development at the University of Montana, where she currently works on policy and grants.
