Laura Hieber

Laura Hieber is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in environmental advocacy and event management. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Officer at Friends of the Earth Europe since September 2017, Laura coordinates campaigns focused on environmental justice and manages impactful communication strategies across various platforms. Prior roles include Communications & Events Officer at the ICMC and Communications Director for the Turkish Film Festival in Buenos Aires, where Laura promoted intercultural dialogue and coordinated significant events. With a strong foundation in communication and media studies from Ruhr University Bochum, complemented by a Master's degree in Audiovisual Production from Universidad de Alcalá, Laura combines a creative approach with strategic planning to engage diverse audiences.
