Matilda Flemming

Matilda Flemming is an accomplished communications and policy professional with a robust background in advocacy, partnership management, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator at Friends of the Earth Europe, Matilda is responsible for directing the communications team and managing media relations and partnerships. Previous roles include Senior Manager for European Affairs & Partnerships at Search for Common Ground, where Matilda focused on strategy development and fundraising, and Policy and Campaigns Officer at the European Women's Lobby, emphasizing women's representation in politics and business. Matilda has also held leadership positions with the United Nations and United Network of Young Peacebuilders, emphasizing youth engagement and gender equality. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Åbo Akademi University.
