Stella Helps

Stella Helps is a finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as Assistant Finance Lead - Year End Support at Comic Relief since September 2023, Stella has held several prominent positions, including Head of Finance at Power to Change Trust from December 2020 to May 2023, and Head of Financial Control at Comic Relief from November 2019 to December 2020. Notable past roles include Head of Finance at Amref Health Africa UK, Breast Cancer Now, and BREAKTHROUGH BREAST CANCER. Additional experience includes Financial Controller at Malaria Consortium and Global Internal Auditor at Save the Children, along with a foundational role as Audit Principal at the UK National Audit Office. Stella holds a Management with French degree from the University of Nottingham and is a Fellow of the ICAEW (FCA) since September 2016.
