Mathew Yates Chartered FCIPD has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Mathew began their career as a Senior HR Officer at Reading Borough Council in 2004, where they worked until 2007. Following this, they joined The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as an HR Adviser for two years. In 2009, Mathew took on the role of Interim HR Officer at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. In 2010, they became a Senior HR Advisor at St Martin Of Tours Housing Association, a position they held until 2013. Mathew then joined Friends of the Elderly as an HR Business Partner for four years, before being promoted to Head Of Human Resources in 2017. Throughout their career, Mathew has provided advice and support on various HR issues, including employment law, change management, redundancy, and TUPE. Their expertise and commitment to promoting the well-being and independence of vulnerable individuals make him a valuable asset to any organization.
Mathew Yates Chartered FCIPD completed their education at the University of Plymouth from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Later, they attended the University of West London from 1999 to 2000, obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management.
In addition to their educational qualifications, Mathew Yates Chartered FCIPD obtained the certification of Chartered Member of the CIPD from the CIPD institution in July 2005. Most recently, in December 2021, they achieved the status of Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, once again from the CIPD institution.
