Warren Finney currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at Friends of the RUH, focusing on strategic and operational leadership to enhance the charity's impact. In addition, Warren holds positions as a Board Member at Age UK Wiltshire and as a Trustee and founding member of Black & Blue, a charity dedicated to addressing violence and abuse. Previously, Warren was Director of Community Development at Prospect Hospice, overseeing various functions including Retail and Fundraising, and played a key role in achieving national accreditation for educational initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member at Synergy Housing and as External Affairs Manager for the National Housing Federation, advocating for affordable housing within economic and health frameworks. Warren holds a Master of Social Policy/Housing from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central St. Martins School of Art and Design.

Friends of the RUH
The Friends of the RUH recruit and manage the team of Volunteers who make a difference and enhance the well being of everyone at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Alongside our few paid Managers, our Volunteers run The RUH SHOP and THE CAFE @B18, where all the profit from sales goes toward additional facilities for patients to which the NHS just cannot stretch. The funds raised through the Friends of the RUH services have gone toward additional wheelchairs, bladder scanners, an ultra sound room in the Breast Clinic to robotic surgical equipment and emergency toiletry packs. The VOLUNTEERS enhance the wellbeing of everyone at the hospital by providing a varied range of support such as Serving tea and Chatting to patients, Tending the gardens, providing Spiritual Care, Breast Feeding Support, Pets as Therapy, Art at the Heart and Dementia Co-ordinators.
