Chief Operating Officer at Friends of Waterfront Park

Eldon Tam serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Friends of Waterfront Seattle since December 2021, after holding the position of Deputy Director. Previously, Eldon Tam was a Project Manager for Building for Equity at 4Culture from October 2019 to August 2022, where a $20M initiative was directed to address historical inequities in cultural facility funding. Eldon Tam also directed a $106M new construction project at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture from April 2014 to October 2019. Earlier roles include Project Manager, Managing Director, Operations Manager, and Volunteer and Special Events Manager at The Center for Wooden Boats from 2005 to 2014, where multiple facility projects were managed alongside overseeing operational aspects. Prior experiences include Facility Manager at Richard Hugo House and Visitor Services and Membership Assistant at the University of California Botanical Garden. Eldon Tam holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from the University of California at Davis and a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from The Culinary Institute of America.
