Senior Program Manager at Friends of Waterfront Park

Kelli Faryar serves as the Seattle Music Commissioner for the City of Seattle since September 2023 and holds the position of Senior Program Manager at Friends of Waterfront Seattle since July 2021, where responsibilities include setting the creative vision and leading the development of the Grand Opening for Waterfront Park. Previously, Kelli contributed to Humanities Washington in the Center for Washington Cultural Traditions: Foodways from August 2021 to January 2023 and served as Executive Artistic Director at Northwest Folklife from December 2008 to August 2021, overseeing multiple programs and the annual Northwest Folklife Festival. Kelli's extensive background includes various roles at Gadgetbox Studios and Bigger Than the Barn Records. Education includes current studies at The City University of New York and specialized training in racial equity through Third Sector Company, Inc.
