Friends of Youth
Batulo Nuh possesses extensive experience in various roles within the fields of sales, management, and human services. Currently, as a Sales Development Intern at Talend since September 2022, Batulo has successfully prospected leads and engaged with clients through multiple channels while collaborating within a team. As a Manager and Co-owner of Moyo Kitchen, responsibilities include employee training, financial oversight, and operational management. Previous roles as a Case Manager at Friends of Youth and Program Staff at Mary's Place involved direct support and resource allocation to clients facing housing challenges, showcasing a commitment to community service. Additional experience as a Residential Counselor at DESC involved crisis intervention and resident support. Batulo holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Western Washington University and an Associate of Arts degree in Social Work and Human Services from Shoreline Community College.

For over 70 years, Friends of Youth has been driven by a belief that all youth should have every opportunity to succeed, and partners with youth and families to provide the relationships, resources, and skills they need to attain personal growth and success. With 24 program sites serving 18 cities in the Puget Sound Region, Friends of Youth provides safe places and emotional support for youth facing circumstances including homelessness, foster care, and behavioral health challenges.
