Friends of Youth
Garrett Kwon is an MSW student at the University of Washington School of Social Work, with extensive experience in social services and management. Currently serving as a Relationship Manager at United Way of Snohomish County and as a PRO Youth Case Manager at Friends of Youth, Garrett provides support to young adults experiencing homelessness and manages part-time staff in transitional living situations. Previously, Garrett held positions as Lead Miner at Subsplash, focusing on data mining and entry, and as Supervisor at Sand Point Country Club, overseeing restaurant staff and operations. Garrett holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology from the University of Washington, earned in 2013.
Friends of Youth
For over 70 years, Friends of Youth has been driven by a belief that all youth should have every opportunity to succeed, and partners with youth and families to provide the relationships, resources, and skills they need to attain personal growth and success. With 24 program sites serving 18 cities in the Puget Sound Region, Friends of Youth provides safe places and emotional support for youth facing circumstances including homelessness, foster care, and behavioral health challenges.
