Caitlin Scott has a strong background in various roles and industries. Caitlin started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Landco Energy in 2000. Caitlin then worked as an Office Manager at RedPrairie from 2005 to 2008, followed by an Information Architect role at the same company from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Deutsche Bank as a Credit Analyst Consultant, where they conducted credit assessments for Cambodian Microfinance organizations. In 2010, they transitioned to Friendship Bridge, where they held multiple roles including Development Associate from 2010 to 2011, Program & Projects Manager from 2012 to 2014, and Social Performance Manager from 2014 to 2019. Most recently, they served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Friendship Bridge starting in August 2019. In this role, they focused on developing and executing strategic initiatives and driving organizational change.

Caitlin Scott began their education journey at Red Rocks Community College, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from 2000 to 2002. Caitlin then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver, graduating in 2005.

Caitlin continued their academic pursuits by enrolling in the University of Denver, where they obtained a Master's Degree in International Development, with a concentration in Microfinance, from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal degrees, Caitlin has also acquired certifications to enhance their knowledge and expertise. In January 2014, they completed the Trainer for Progress out of Poverty Index program offered by the Grameen Foundation. Additionally, in April 2022, they attained the Accion Program on Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance certification from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
