Shenee Turner

Shenee Turner, LPC, NCC, currently serves as Division Director at Friendship Place since September 2023 and previously held the role of Assistant Director. Turner has extensive experience in the behavioral health field, including a position as Post ER Engagement Clinician at McClendon Center, where assessments were conducted for at-risk individuals utilizing emergency department services from February 2024 to May 2025. Prior to that, Turner was Clinical Manager at McClendon Center from December 2021 to September 2023 and worked as a Mobile Crisis Clinician and Housing Case Manager at Catholic Charities USA from July 2017 to November 2021. Additional roles include Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities at the Mayor's Office of Talents & Appointments and several internships focused on mental health counseling. Turner holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Family Consumer Science from Lamar University.
