Tim Kunde has a diverse work experience. Tim co-founded Friendsurance in 2010 and served as the Managing Director. Friendsurance is an insurtech company that pioneered the concept of peer-to-peer insurance and developed the claims-free bonus. Tim Kunde also led the launch of Friendsurance Business, which focuses on digitizing insurance services for banks and insurance companies. Prior to this, they were the CEO of JT Internet GmbH from 2008 to 2009, and a Senior Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from 2004 to 2008.

Tim Kunde's education history began in 2000 when they enrolled at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. Tim completed their studies at WHU in 2004 and received a Diplom-Kaufmann degree, as well as an MSc in Management. Their field of study during this time included International Management, Business Administration, Marketing, and Controlling.
