Nathan Clements-Gillespie

Nathan Clements-Gillespie is an accomplished art professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the contemporary art sector. Currently serving as Director and Artistic Director of Frieze Masters since January 2017, Nathan has played a pivotal role in shaping this prestigious event. Previously, Nathan was the Director of Art16, successfully overseeing the global art fair's fourth edition. Other notable positions include Consultant for In Between Art Film and Director of External Affairs at MACRO - Museo d'Arte Contemporanea Roma, where responsibilities included strategic planning and partnership development. Nathan's early career features internships at prominent organizations such as Peter Freeman, Inc., Fondazione La Biennale di Venezia, and The Peggy Guggenheim Collection.
