Sofie Krogh Christensen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of contemporary art and curatorial practices. Their most recent position was as an Assistant Curator at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Wissenschaftliche Volontärin at the same institution from February 2020 to October 2021.

Sofie also gained experience as an Arts critic at Frieze, starting in September 2021. Before that, they worked as a Curator-in-residence at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) from January to May 2018.

In 2017, Sofie served as the Deputy Press and Publication Manager at Studio Elmgreen & Dragset. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Curator for the 15th Istanbul Biennial at İKSV from May 2016 to October 2017.

Sofie's experience also includes a role as a Curatorial Assistant at PRAXES Center for Contemporary Art from August 2014 to July 2015. Sofie Krogh provided practical and theoretical support for various exhibitions and assisted in research-based exhibition development. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher/Guide at the Danish Architecture Centre and later at DAC | The Danish Architecture Centre from February 2014 to August 2014 and from June 2011 to February 2012, respectively. In the latter role, they also worked as an employee at DAC BOOKS/SHOP, providing customer service and guidance.

Furthermore, Sofie gained valuable experience as an intern in Communication, Culture, and Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, specifically at the Danish Embassy in Berlin, from August 2013 to January 2014. Their responsibilities included press work, drafting press texts, media contact, city branding, and the organization of cultural events and exhibitions.

Sofie Krogh Christensen has a diverse education history. Sofie Krogh started their studies in 2009 at the University of Copenhagen, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Comparative Literature, which they completed in 2012. During their undergraduate years, they also had the opportunity to participate in exchange programs at two different universities in Berlin: Freie Universität Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin. At Freie Universität Berlin, they studied Art History, Criticism, and Conservation in 2012. Additionally, at Technische Universität Berlin, they focused on Architectural History and Criticism in the same year.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Sofie continued their studies at the University of Copenhagen from 2013 to 2016. During this period, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Modern Culture. To further enrich their academic experience, they also participated in the Master of Arts Exchange Programme at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2014 to 2015. In this program, they explored the field of Europäische Ethnologie.

Sofie's education history showcases their interdisciplinary approach, as they have studied diverse fields such as Comparative Literature, Art History, Criticism and Conservation, Architectural History and Criticism, and Modern Culture. Their experiences studying abroad in Berlin have also provided their with cross-cultural perspectives on various subjects.
