Herbert M. Chain

Herbert M. Chain, MBA, CPA, NACD.DC, currently serves as a shareholder at CBIZ CPAs P.C. and is a faculty member at the SEC Institute. Previously, Chain was a retired audit partner at Deloitte, managing significant audit engagements and possessing extensive PCAOB and SEC experience. Chain holds multiple board positions, including chair of the Audit and Compliance Committee at Qlarant and chair of the Audit Committee at FRMO CORP, while also being actively involved in Zergratran and The Warrior Connection as a board member. Chain has academic roles as an adjunct professor and previously served as Assistant Professor and Executive Director at St. John's University, teaching various accounting courses. Chain's educational background includes an MBA from The Wharton School, a BS in Marine Geology from Duke University, an MS in International Relations from New York University, and ongoing doctoral studies in Accounting and Finance at The International School of Management.
