Omar Faruque

Omar Faruque is an experienced ICT Infrastructure & Communications Specialist at Fire & Rescue New South Wales since July 2013, where responsibilities include managing the emergency service (000) network to ensure continuous and resilient service delivery. Prior to this, Omar served as a Senior ICT Engineer and ICT Engineer at Sydney Olympic Park Authority from January 2011 to June 2013. Omar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, completed in 2007, and completed high school at Notre Dame College in Dhaka between 1997 and 1999.
