Paul Barnes has extensive experience in IT operations and communications, currently serving as Director of IT Operations & Communications at Fire & Rescue NSW since September 2013, with prior roles including Assistant Director IT in various domains. Previously, Paul held the position of Membership Director at PMI Sydney Chapter and Manager of Network Operations at NSW Telco Authority. Notable achievements include supervising a significant upgrade to the NSW Government Radio Network and managing projects that ensured high service availability and infrastructure consolidation. Paul has a solid educational background with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney and holds a Project Management Professional certification.
