Robert McNeil

Robert McNeil is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in emergency management and community risk within Fire and Rescue NSW since 2010. As a retired Assistant Commissioner, McNeil has led metropolitan operations across Sydney, Newcastle, Illawarra, and the Blue Mountains, and has spearheaded regional emergency management initiatives statewide. With a strong background in risk management, community engagement, and commercial fire safety training, McNeil has held various leadership roles including Director of the Firefighter Championship Association and Manager of the Hazardous Materials Response Unit. McNeil holds a Graduate Diploma in Management, Leadership, Social Science, Risk Management, and Dangerous Goods, and completed education at Christian Brothers High School Lewisham from 1971 to 1979.
