Björn Hegstam

Björn Hegstam is an experienced software developer currently working at Froda since October 2024. Prior to this, Björn held positions at PriceRunner - A Klarna Group Company as a Senior Engineer and Software Developer from August 2021 to September 2024, and at ASSA ABLOY AB as a Software Developer from December 2017 to July 2021, where Björn contributed to the development of cloud-based guest access services for the hospitality industry. Previous roles include a Software Developer at Lumera (formerly Itello AB) from January 2014 to November 2017, a consultant at Bravura Sverige AB, and a Master's thesis student at OptoNova AB focused on defect detection in multivariate image streams. Björn's early career included teaching math and physics, serving as a computer lab instructor at KTH, and creating 3D illustrations for GE Healthcare. Björn holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, with additional education at Technische Universität Wien.
