Mark Lodes

Chief Medical Officer, Population Health & Medical Education at Froedtert Health

Mark Lodes, MD, currently serves as chief medical officer for Population Health and Medical Education at the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network. He provides medical direction for the health system’s Accountable Care Organization and Clinically integrated Network. He is faculty with the Kern Institute and co-director of the MCW Health System Management and Policy Pathway.

Dr. Lodes joined the Froedtert & the MCW health network in 2001 as an internal medicine/pediatrics physician and assistant clinical professor. He served as the executive director of the Froedtert & MCW Primary Care Initiative (PCI) from 2003 – 2007, chief medical officer of Clinical Ventures Group from 2008 – 2013, and President of Froedtert & MCW Community Physicians from 2013 – 2018.

Dr. Lodes is a past recipient of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty Award and has been annually recognized since 2003 in the Best Doctors in America publication. He serves on the board of directors for the Wisconsin Statewide Health Information Network, Greater Milwaukee Urban League and Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality.

Dr. Lodes is board certified in internal Medicine and pediatrics. He sees patients at the Plank Road Clinic in the Tosa Health Center in Wauwatosa.

Dr. Lodes grew up in Neenah, Wis., and now resides in Brookfield with his wife, Amy. He and his wife have three children: Patrick, Caroline and Sam. On weekends, you may see him at a local sporting event or on the golf course.
