Eugénie has a solid background at FrogPubs, where they started in June 2013 as the Head Brewer / Brewery Production Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day running of a fast-growing brewing plant, managing a team of 5 Brewers, designing beer recipes including 11 core range beers, and launching 6 new seasonal beers per year. Eugénie also played a key role in Troubleshooting and quality management, leading to the production of award-winning beers.

Eugénie'sprevious work experiences include Engineer-Brewer / Production Manager at Brasserie de Vézelay from November 2011 to November 2012, Assistant Brewer / traineeship at Indslev Bryggeri in December 2011, and the role of Project Holder at a Craft microbrewery from 2009 to March 2011.

Additionally, Eugénie has experience outside the brewing industry as they worked as the Regulation - CSR - Quality Project Coordinator at SYNABIO from February 2007 to January 2011.

Eugénie Mai-The has a diverse education history. In 2001, they attended Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they pursued a Life Sciences General Degree with a focus on Biology and Chemistry. Eugénie completed their degree in 2003. Following this, they enrolled at AgroParisTech and obtained a degree in Agronomy and Food Engineering, which they completed in 2006. In 2010, Eugénie attended IFBM (French Institute of Brewing and Malting) for a brewing program. From 2016 to 2021, they were a student at the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, specializing in Brewing. In 2021, Eugénie pursued further education and became a Certified Sake Sommelier through the Sake Sommelier Association.
