Shannon Strong

Shannon Strong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Shannon began their career at Osmosis Skincare as an Office and Warehouse Assistant before moving on to Imagine That Boutique as a Sales Clerk. Shannon then worked at Costco Wholesale as a Seasonal Bakery Wrapper.

In 2015, Shannon joined the University of Arizona as a Global Ambassador, where they welcomed international students and helped them transition into campus life. Shannon also worked as a Student Writer for the Office of Communications during their time at the university.

Shannon gained experience in the healthcare field as a Caregiver at Applewood Our House during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Shannon later became a TMS Technician at Serenity Mental Health Centers, where they provided treatment to patients and worked collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.

Shannon's passion for photography led their to From the Hip Photo, where they started as a Photography Intern. Shannon later became the Lead Photographer, capturing various categories such as weddings, family shoots, branding, and headshots. Shannon is proficient in Adobe Lightroom and can edit multiple shoots a day.

In addition to their work experience, Shannon also contributed to public health research as an International Health Intern at the Pacific Islands Public Health Training Center. Shannon participated in data collection and analysis for a survey aimed at understanding the high rates of non-communicable diseases among the population.

Earlier in their career, Shannon worked as a waitress and bartender at Hiwan Golf Club and Little Ollies, respectively. Shannon'sroles involved providing exceptional customer service and building relationships with customers.

Shannon Strong attended the University of Arizona from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Health. In 2017, they also studied at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where they pursued a minor in Spanish Language and Literature. In May 2018, Shannon obtained a certification in Professional Spanish from the University of Arizona's Spanish Department. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Grammar Guru and Online Learning from the same department in March 2018 and February 2018 respectively.
