Tomi Päiväniemi

Tomi Päiväniemi has a strong background in technology and leadership roles. Tomi is currently working as the CTO at Front AI since October 2022. Before that, they held the position of Chief Product Officer at Vaana from March 2019 to October 2021. Tomi also served as the Chief Architect at Vaana from March 2018 to February 2019. Prior to their time at Vaana, Tomi worked at Leiki as the CTO from January 2010 to March 2018. Tomi also worked as a Project Manager/Algorithm Designer from June 2007 to December 2009 and as a Software Developer from June 2005 to May 2007 at the same company. Tomi'scareer started at the University of Helsinki, where they worked as a Research & Teaching Assistant from January 2001 to May 2005. Before that, they worked briefly as a Consultant at Stonesoft in 1998 and as a Software Developer at Kemijoki Oy in 1997.

Tomi Päiväniemi has an extensive education history. Tomi obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, in 1995, they completed a course in Computer Science at the University of Oulu and obtained an Approbatur degree.

In more recent years, Tomi pursued further qualifications in First-Level Management from SASKY koulutuskuntayhtymä, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. This qualification was earned from 2020 to 2021. Furthermore, during the same period, Tomi attended Tiimiakatemia Global Ltd. and completed the Tiimimestari 116 program, where they focused on Team coaching.

Tomi Päiväniemi also holds an additional certification as an AI Trainer, which they obtained in October 2022 from boost.ai.
