Dan DeMonte has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Dan currently holds the position of VP, Brand Partnerships at Front Office Sports since February 2022. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director, Brand Partnerships at the same company from May 2021 to February 2022.
Before joining Front Office Sports, Dan worked at RetailMeNot / Ziff Media Group as the Senior Director of Sales & Brand Partnerships from October 2018 to May 2021. Dan was responsible for launching RetailMeNot's agency-facing media sales team and driving over $3MM in sales. Dan also managed partnerships with key clients such as Chase, Wendy's, H&M, Burger King, and more. When RetailMeNot was acquired by Ziff Media, Dan shifted over and sold the larger ZMG portfolio.
Prior to their role at RetailMeNot, Dan worked at U.S. News & World Report as a Strategic Partnership Manager from July 2017 to September 2018. Dan'sfocus was on forging strategic partnerships between U.S. News and major national brands such as Chase.
From January 2016 to July 2017, Dan worked at New York Daily News as the National Digital Sales Director, where they identified key strategic digital partners and drove national revenue for the company. Before this role, they served as a Senior Digital Sales Executive at New York Daily News from July 2014 to January 2016, where they focused on forging new partnerships with major national brands and agencies.
Dan also has experience at appssavvy, where they held the roles of National Sales Director from August 2013 to July 2014 and Sales & Innovation Executive from May 2011 to August 2013. In these positions, they led the east coast sales team and fostered relationships with blue-chip brands and agencies.
Early in their career, Dan worked at The Media Kitchen as a Senior Media Strategist from August 2007 to May 2011. Dan was responsible for the strategy, planning, purchasing, and execution of national campaigns for Delta Air Lines and the William Grant & Sons portfolio of spirits.
Dan's career began at the State College Spikes Baseball as a Media Relations and Marketing Assistant from March 2006 to March 2007. Dan wrote post-game summaries, prepared game notes, and assisted in local marketing efforts for the minor league affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Dan DeMonte earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sports Journalism and Communications with a minor in Business from Penn State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they obtained the IAB Advanced Programmatic Program certification from the IAB in March 2015.
