Rodrigo (Rod) Caldas has extensive experience in brand partnerships, sales, and licensing within the music and sports industries. Currently serving as VP of Brand Partnerships at Universal Music Group, Rod focuses on helping brands develop music strategies in the Latin Music sector. Prior roles include Sales Director at Honav USA Inc., where Rod developed sales strategies for licensed products related to TEAM USA and the Olympics, and Licensing General Manager for the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee, where Rod negotiated significant deals with major companies. Rod's background also includes leadership positions at The Walt Disney Company, overseeing live entertainment and music operations in Brazil, as well as a foundational role at Universal Music Group in various sales and digital management capacities. Rod holds an MBA in Marketing from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
