Annette Balter

Annette Balter is an accomplished program manager with extensive experience in health education and community services. Currently, at Front Porch Communities & Services since May 2016, Annette manages the Well Connected program, focusing on social engagement and lifelong learning for older adults, alongside overseeing a large team of volunteers and presenters. Previous roles include serving as a health education specialist at Solano County, where Annette developed tobacco prevention initiatives, and as a project coordinator at the County of Marin, administering services for older adults. Annette also gained valuable experience as a health educator at Kaiser Permanente. Annette holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from San Jose State University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Leicester, and a Bachelor's Degree in English/Art History from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
