Alexander Banh

Since finishing his two undergraduate degrees from Queen’s University in 2015, Alex has worked in investment banking at the Bank of Montreal, helped Amazon-backed ecobee raise their $100 million+ Series C, completed a Fellowship at the MaRS Discovery District, and is currently a Principal at Fulcrum Technology Holdings, an emerging technologies-focused merchant bank. At Fulcrum, he specializes in mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, and strategy, particularly for AI- and IoT-enabled investee companies.

He is currently enrolled in the Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence program at Queen’s, sponsored by the Vector Institute. Outside of his coursework and day job, he also leads Business Development at the Queen’s University Alternative Assets Fund which manages a part of the university’s endowment.
