Marko Jelavic is a seasoned finance and investment professional currently serving as Chief of Staff and Head of Finance at NorthOne, where the focus is on creating effective banking experiences for businesses. In addition, Marko has held the position of Principal and VC Associate at Ferst Capital Partners since 2016, supporting FinTech startups with strategic capital. Marko also advises multiple organizations, including the Holt Accelerator and Front Row Ventures, which is Canada’s first student-run venture capital fund. Previous experience includes roles in advisory capacities with FinFusion, strategic partnerships at Athlete Builder, consultancy at OMsignal, and various positions in startups and venture funds such as TandemLaunch Technologies Inc. and iN4P. Marko holds an MBA from HEC Paris and a degree in Kinesiology from McGill University.
