Ernest McCracken

Ernest McCracken is a seasoned software engineer and educator with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Frontdoor, Inc. since October 2019, Ernest also holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Memphis, teaching undergraduate computer science courses. Previous roles include Software Engineering Manager at The University of Memphis, where research focused on Named Data Networking, and Application Architect at IBM, specializing in enterprise web applications. Ernest's early career includes positions at FedEx Services as a Senior Programmer Analyst and as a Research Assistant at the FedEx Institute of Technology, alongside an internship with the Airforce Sensors Directorate. Ernest earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Memphis. Additionally, Ernest served as President of Memphis Game Developers and continues to support the organization's board of trustees.
