Grzegorz Niemiec

Grzegorz Niemiec is a board member at Frontex, and previously worked as a public information specialist for the European Commission from October 2016 to May 2021. Prior to that, they were a freelance translator for Ani Mal Translation from February 2016 to February 2017. Grzegorz also interned at Kancelaria tłumacza przysięgłego Witolda Wójcika from November 2014 to February 2015, where they completed translations from German and Dutch to Polish, and from Polish to German. Finally, they interned at Ilapak sp. z o.o. from May 2014 to October 2014, where they translated specialized texts (machine descriptions, offers, website content) from English to Polish and provided interpreting services during meetings with foreign clients.

Grzegorz Niemiec earned their Magister (Mgr) in Lingwistyka stosowana and Germanistyka from Jagiellonian University. Grzegorz also has a Licencjat (Lic.) in Germanistyka from Jagiellonian University. Grzegorz has certification from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Taal PMT and from TestDaF Institut in Zeugnis Test DaF.
