Monika Williams

Monika Williams has extensive experience in computational chemistry and research. Monika currently holds the position of Computational Chemist, Scientist II at Frontier Medicines, where they started in January 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Computational Chemist, Scientist I at the same company from November 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Frontier Medicines, Monika was a Graduate Researcher in Physical Chemistry at Stanford University from an unspecified start date to November 2020. In this role, they expanded theoretical approaches, developed software for quantum dynamics methods, and utilized statistical analysis and data visualization for molecular simulations. Monika also modeled ultrafast spectroscopy to aid in experiment design and interpretation. During their time at Stanford, they also served as a Teaching Assistant and contributed to the development of course materials, including MATLAB code.

Monika's earlier experiences include roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at DAAD-RISE in 2014 and at the National Science Foundation (NSF) in 2013.

Monika Williams completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from King's College between the years 2011 and 2015. Afterward, they pursued higher education at Stanford University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theoretical Chemistry from 2015 to 2020.
