Vivek Shingornikar has a diverse work experience that spans over 15 years. Vivek started their career as an Engineer Trainee at Webware Technologies Pvt. Ltd in 2005. Vivek then joined Patni Computer Systems in 2006 as a Software Engineer, where they played a key role in developing the BUPA Occupational Health System using Java, Struts Framework, and Hibernate. Vivek was awarded the Dream Team Award for their excellent performance in this project. During their time at Patni Computer Systems, Vivek also took on the role of the Defect Prevention Representative, where they analyzed errors committed by the team and suggested solutions to minimize future defects. Vivek also managed the 4-member Support with Action Team, responsible for analyzing production bugs and providing initial analysis to team members. In 2009, Vivek joined Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. (FSTRF) as a Software Engineer II. Here, they designed and developed a critical patient enrollment system for clinical trials using Java/JEE, Spring MVC, JQuery, and SQL. Vivek had a 100% on-time delivery record and developed robust and secure web applications for sensitive patient data. Vivek's work allowed international clinics to submit patient data and receive accurate diagnosis and treatment from doctors in the US.
Vivek Shingornikar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems from the University at Buffalo, which they attended from 2008 to 2009. Prior to these higher education pursuits, Vivek attended Don Bosco, although the specific details regarding the years of enrollment and the degree earned are unknown.
