Nick Kalra

Nick Kalra has a diverse work experience in software development and consulting. Nick started their career as a Trainee Programmer at Unicus Interactive in November 2009 and gained experience in various domains such as retail and healthcare. Nick then worked as a Programmer and was involved in research and development of web applications using ASP.Net and SQL Server Business Intelligence. In their role as a Senior Programmer, Nick was responsible for requirement gathering, analysis, and implementation of prototypes. Nick also tuned complex SQL queries.

In December 2011, Nick became a Team Lead - Full Stack .Net Developer at Unicus Interactive, where they gained experience in handling a team of 10 developers and had 2.5 years of experience in this role.

Nick then joined Amplifi in June 2012 as a Front End Integrator. In this role, they integrated Oracle ATG code with front-end to enhance user experience. Nick was a team member of the Cineplex Business 2 Business Project and worked as a UI Integrator for over 3 years.

In November 2015, Nick joined Honest & Young as a Senior Software Consultant.

Nick then worked at SleevesUp from April 2016 to January 2018 as a Senior Software Developer.

Most recently, Nick joined Frontier Software in January 2018 as a C# App Developer.

Nick Kalra completed their education starting with Kundan Vidya Mandir from 2000 to 2004, where they focused on Humanities/Humanistic Studies. Nick then pursued a Bachelor's in Computer Applications from DAV Chandigarh during 2004-2007. Nick further enhanced their academic qualifications by obtaining a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU between 2010 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Nick also holds a certification in "shaping-up-with-angular-js" from Code School, although the specific details of the certification's completion date were not provided.
