Georgina Harris

Georgina Harris is an accomplished professional in the fields of business strategy and scientific research, currently serving as the Business Strategy and Change Management Lead at Frontiers since November 2018, where responsibilities include leading change management initiatives within the publishing department. In addition, Georgina co-founded Academly in July 2023, a platform for academic management and mentorship. Previous roles include Portfolio Manager - Biosciences Program and various journal and publishing development positions at Frontiers, as well as research roles at prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Universidade de Lisboa, and the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. Georgina holds a PhD in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MSc in Toxicology from the University of Birmingham, and a BSc with Honours in Biochemistry with Molecular Cell Biology. Education also includes advanced toxicology coursework at the University of Lausanne.
