Julian Lui

Julian Lui is a seasoned staff scientist at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) since January 2007, where leadership in the design and development of cartilage-targeted protein therapeutics for growth disorders has been pivotal. Responsibilities include project management, collaboration with industry for clinical trials, mentoring, and securing funding. Previous roles include research fellow focusing on genetic studies of growth disorders, and visiting fellow investigating childhood growth and cartilage diseases. Julian is also an associate editor for Bone Research and topic editor for Experimental Physiology, with experience in academia as a lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Educational background includes a PhD and a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
