Nikhil K.

Nikhil K. has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Their most recent role is as a Site Reliability Engineer at Frontline Education since 2022. Prior to that, Nikhil worked as an AWS DevOps Consultant at the Maryland Department of Human Services from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they focused on building and supporting applications in an AWS EKS environment using Jenkins for CI/CD and deploying infrastructure with Terraform. NIKHIL also gained experience in monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic and Splunk.

Before their time at the Maryland Department of Human Services, Nikhil worked at First Data Corporation as a Linux System Engineer from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they gained experience with Ansible automation integrated with VMware and AWS, and deployed infrastructure resources using Cloudformation.

Earlier in their career, Nikhil worked as a Linux System Administrator at Cspire wireless from 2013 to 2014. NIKHIL supported and administered RHEL servers, troubleshooted and supported middleware applications like JBoss, Tomcat, and Weblogic.

In 2012, Nikhil had a role at State Farm Insurance as Linux Capacity and Infrastructure availability management, which lasted from October 2012 to February 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Unix Capacity Planning Specialist at CHS from October 2011 to September 2012.

During the earlier years of their career, Nikhil held positions such as System Admin at SITA from October 2009 to September 2011, and Linux System Administrator at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from June 2009 to October 2009.

Nikhil K.'s education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad. NIKHIL attended the college from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bridgeport. This degree was obtained from 2007 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Nikhil has also obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they became a Certified Kubernetes Administrator through The Linux Foundation. The following month, in January 2021, they obtained the CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification from the same institution. Furthermore, in February 2019, they earned the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
