Erik Leiren

Erik Leiren has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Erik started their career at Wave Broadband as a Technical Support Representative, handling phone and email inquiries related to technical problems with internet, cable, and telephone services. Erik then moved up to the role of Technical Support Lead, leading a team of 9-14 people and providing technical training and documentation. Eventually, Erik became the Technical Support Operations Manager at Wave Broadband, overseeing multiple teams and managing performance metrics and compensation.

After their time at Wave Broadband, Erik joined Microsoft as a Mission Control Senior Operations Analyst, where they managed communications and coordinated business critical events. Erik also acted as an Incident Manager, handling priority incidents and coordinating resources. Later, Erik took on the role of a Business Intelligence Analyst for Microsoft's Retail Stores team, creating complex reports and ensuring quality control for helpdesk tickets.

Erik briefly worked as a Senior Support Engineer at Glympse, where they handled support requests and created support articles for users of the app.

More recently, Erik has been involved in implementations at Frontline Group. Erik started as an Implementation Project Manager, responsible for managing implementation projects. Erik then became the Director of Implementations, overseeing the implementation of Five9 and Zoom. Currently, Erik holds the position of Director of Five9 and Zoom Implementations at Frontline Group.

Erik Leiren has a diverse education history in the field of computer science. Starting in 2003, Erik attended ITT Technical Institute-Everett, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Erik completed this program in 2005.

Continuing their education, Erik enrolled at ITT Technical Institute-Everett once again in 2004, this time pursuing an Associate of Science in Computer Networking Systems. Erik successfully completed this program in 2006.

In 2019, Erik Leiren enrolled at Western Governors University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics/Data Management. Erik is expected to complete this program in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Erik has obtained several certifications from Talkdesk, including the Talkdesk Admins Certification, Talkdesk Agents Certification, and Talkdesk Supervisors Certification. Erik obtained these certifications in April 2019.
