Shayarie Basu

Shayarie Basu has been working in the software engineering industry since 2013. Shayarie began their career as a Product Verification Engineer at Tejas Networks India Limited in 2013. In 2015, they joined SmarterHomes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Engineer. In this role, they liased between clients and product management teams to supervise the end to end development of web and mobile applications controlling IoT based smart meter “WaterOn”. Additionally, they provided analysis and problem solving on software development business challenges and customer support issues, which helped maintain a 100% customer retention rate. Shayarie also collected requirements, created user stories, and translated them into actionable items for the development team. In 2019, they moved to Avior Strategies Incorporated as a Business Technology Analyst. Currently, they work as a Software Engineer at Frontpoint.

Shayarie Basu holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General from George Mason University, obtained in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Information Technology from PES Institute of Technology, University of Bengaluru, India in 2015. Additionally, they hold a certification in Amazon Web Services Essential Training from LinkedIn, obtained in August 2019.
