Edward Contreras

Edward Contreras is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Sr. EVP and Chief Information Security Officer at Frost Bank since September 2019, Edward has also contributed to the Cyber and Analytics Board of Advisors at The University of Texas at San Antonio since June 2021. Previous roles include CISO and VP of Internal Audit at [24]7.ai, and various strategic positions at SVB Financial Group, including Sr. Director of Financial Crimes and Director of Cyber Security. Edward's military background includes over 20 years as an Information Security Officer in the United States Army Reserve. Edward holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from American Intercontinental University.
