Sean McQuarrie

Sean McQuarrie, CPA has over 15 years of work experience in the accounting and tax field. Currently, they hold the position of Tax Director at Frost Law, where they began working in 2023. Prior to this, Sean served as a Senior Tax Manager at E. Cohen from 2022 to 2023 and as a Tax Manager from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they worked as a Tax Supervisor at E. Cohen from 2019 to 2021. Sean also gained experience as a Tax Supervising Senior at BFBA, LLP from 2018 to 2019 and as a Tax Supervisor at Jones and Kolb from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, Sean held the positions of Senior Tax Accountant and Senior Auditor at Jones and Kolb from 2015 to 2017 and from 2013 to 2015, respectively. Sean started their career as a Senior Auditor at Sullivan, Rogers & Company, LLC in 2012 and also worked as a Staff Auditor at the same firm from 2010 to 2012. Furthermore, Sean volunteered as part of the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program at the Internal Revenue Service from 2011 to 2013 and worked as an Assistant Staff Accountant at Boston Culinary Group from 2007 to 2009. Sean McQuarrie, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting and taxation. Sean obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on accounting and international management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University in 2010. Sean furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Taxation (MTx) degree at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sean has obtained multiple certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Sean became a CPA in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in October 2012, followed by becoming a CPA in the State of Georgia in September 2014. Most recently, they earned their CPA certification in the State of Maryland in September 2019. These certifications reflect Sean's commitment to professional excellence in their field.
