Elizabeth Hillstrom

Elizabeth Hillstrom is a seasoned engineer currently serving as the Lead Engineer at Frost Methane Labs, where responsibilities include designing, building, and deploying methane destruction devices to mitigate climate change. Prior experience includes roles as Engineer II at Kairos Power, focusing on experiments related to heat transfer and hydrodynamics for advanced nuclear reactors, and as a Process Qualification Technician at Stanford Nanofabrication Facility, where furnace and etcher qualification tests were conducted. Earlier, Elizabeth held a Student Research Fellowship at Los Alamos National Laboratory, investigating ultrasonic testing of 3D printed parts, and a Mechanical Engineering Internship at Microaire Surgical Instruments, contributing to pneumatic surgical instrument development. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
