Maya Doyle

Maya Doyle is an accomplished academic and clinical professional with extensive experience in social work, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Quinnipiac University since August 2014, where courses include Specialized Field Seminar and Social Work Practice in Health Care Settings. Additionally, Maya holds a joint appointment as Associate Clinical Professor of Medical Sciences. A Senior Pediatric Social Worker and Camp Coordinator at Children's Hospital at Montefiore since September 1999, Maya has been integral in managing the Ruth Gottscho Children’s Kidney Program and providing psychosocial support to patients with kidney disease. Contributions to the Cystinosis Research Network as a Professional Advisor focus on enhancing resources for patients and families. Maya also has experience in various academic roles at institutions such as Walden University and New York University, and holds a PhD in Social Work from New York University, along with a Master’s in Social Work and a BA in English & Medieval Studies.
