James Dean

James Dean is an experienced educator currently serving as a VCE Biology Teacher at Kew High School since 2017. In addition, James has been a tutor at Fruition Tuition since October 2016, providing support in mathematics to students from K-12 and facilitating group tutoring sessions. Since January 2014, James has held the position of Residential Advisor at Monash Residential Services, offering pastoral and academic care to a diverse group of 20-25 students. Earlier experience includes serving as a Library Assistant at the Goulburn Valley Regional Library Network from February 2009 to November 2012, where James organized loans and returns of library materials and provided customer service. Academic qualifications include a Masters of Teaching in Secondary Education with a focus on Microbiology and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, both obtained from Monash University, as well as a Victorian Certificate of Education from Euroa Secondary College.
