Omran Abbara

Channel Partner Manager, South East Asia & Australia at FS-Elliott

Omran Abbara has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Omran started their career in 2010 as a Sales & Marketing Associate at Made With Joy. Omran then interned at Ralph Lauren as a PJC Sales Intern, where they gained knowledge in high-level sales and marketing for international brands. In 2011, they briefly worked as an Admissions Assistant at Westminster Adult Education Services.

In 2013, Omran joined Enerflex Ltd. as an Application Engineer. Omran worked on projects related to natural gas compression, refrigeration systems, power generation, and gas processing systems. Their responsibilities included reviewing project specifications, developing equipment selection and sizing, and preparing cost estimates and technical/commercial proposals. Omran also maintained customer relationships and ensured compliance with industry standards.

In 2014, Omran became a Project Engineer at Enerflex Ltd. Omran was involved in the procurement of valves, instruments, pumps, and other equipment for a CO2 processing plant. Omran also assisted in the development of equipment specifications and drawings, as well as the generation of lists and modifications for the plant's P&ID. Additionally, they contributed to the development of a cause and effect logic for the control system.

Since 2015, Omran has been working at FS-Elliott as a Channel Partner Manager for the South East Asia & Australia region. Their role involves providing strategic guidance to channel partners across various business functions, including new equipment sales, aftermarket & service, and commercial and legal matters.

Throughout their career, Omran has demonstrated strong technical and analytical skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.

Omran Abbara received their A-levels from Duff Miller College from 2005 to 2007, with a focus on Psychology. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering with Biochemical Engineering from UCL, completing the program from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Omran Abbara has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they acquired certifications in Sales Management Foundations, Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself, Sales Negotiation, Salesforce for Sales Managers, Analyzing Sales Competitors, Key Account Management, and Sales Channel Management, all from LinkedIn. In 2022, they earned certifications in Sales Leadership: Building a Thriving Coaching Culture, Sales: Data-Driven Sales Management, Sales Coaching, Building and Managing a High-Performing Sales Team, Transitioning to Management for Salespeople, Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook, and Sales Management Foundations, all from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in 2023, they obtained the Foundations of Efficient Compressed Air Systems certification from the Compressed Air & Gas Institute (CAGI).
