Cindy Tan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Cindy started their career as an Assistant to the Faculty of Liaisons at the University of Guelph-Humber in 2004. Cindy then moved on to become a Co-op Coordinator at Humber College from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, they joined Evertz as a Sales Coordinator and also volunteered as a Joint Health and Safety Committee Member and an HR Newsletter Publisher Coordinator. Cindy worked there until 2010.
Cindy then joined Sodexo Canada in 2011 as a Payroll Administrator and later took on additional roles as a Joint Health and Safety Committee Member and an HR Support Administrator (Intern). Cindy remained with the company until 2013 when they joined eHealth Ontario as an HR Coordinator.
Cindy'smost recent work experience has been with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) where they started as an HR Program Assistant in 2019. Cindy has since been promoted to the role of HR Program Lead starting in September 2022.
Cindy Tan completed their Degree and Diploma in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing (Honours), from the University of Guelph-Humber from 2003 to 2007. In 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management (Honours) at Mohawk College.

Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA)
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was established to replace the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The agency is flexible, self-funded and designed to respond rapidly to an evolving commercial and consumer environment.
