Kathy Carmosino has extensive experience in pension operations and regulatory compliance, currently serving as a Manager at the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) since 1999. With a strong background in Ontario pension legislation, Kathy has held multiple roles including Manager of Pension Quality Assurance and Control and Pension Officer. Kathy possesses proven expertise in administering both defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, along with exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills. Prior to FSRA, Kathy worked as a Pension Plan Administrator at Mercer, where responsibilities included calculating pension benefit entitlements and ensuring accurate administration of client data. Kathy holds a Pension Plan Administration Certificate from Humber College and diplomas in Business Administration and Business Management from George Brown College, with ongoing studies at the Schulich School of Business - York University.

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) is a new, independent regulatory agency created to improve consumer and pension plan beneficiary protections in Ontario. FSRA was established to replace the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO). The agency is flexible, self-funded and designed to respond rapidly to an evolving commercial and consumer environment.
