Diran Oni

Diran Oni has a diverse work experience in the banking sector spanning over 20 years. Diran started their career as a Student Trainee at Guaranty Trust in 1999, where they gained experience in platform support roles and marketing for liability generation. Diran then worked as an Account Officer in the Telecoms and General Commerce division, where they were responsible for marketing and processing customer investments and importation documentation. In 2003, they became a Relationship Manager in the Telecommunications Unit, specializing in relationship management and business analysis for the telecoms sector. Diran'srole involved managing GSM and CDMA operators and their value chains.

In 2007, Diran joined Ecobank Nigeria as a Senior Relationship Manager in the Telecommunications sector and subsequently held various roles in the Upstream Oil & Gas, Downstream Oil & Gas, and Maritime sectors. Diran was responsible for managing portfolios and developing relationships with clients in these industries.

Since 2016, Diran has been working at FSDH Merchant Bank as the Head of Energy & Infrastructure in Corporate Banking. In this role, they are responsible for originating, executing, and managing debt investments in the Oil & Gas, Power, and Infrastructure sectors. Diran'sresponsibilities also include structured finance, corporate finance, business advisory, credit analysis, and administration in various financing arrangements.

Diran Oni, HCIB, obtained an MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School in the period of 2010 to 2013. In 2019, they participated in the xBLUE Program at TVLP Institute Silicon Valley, specializing in Raise Capital and Growth. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in ESTATE MANAGEMENT from Obafemi Awolowo University from 1995 to 2000.
