Tochukwu Regis Onweagba

Tochukwu Regis Onweagba has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. From 2019 onwards, they worked at FSDH Merchant Bank as the Head of Database Administration and Business Intelligence. Prior to that, they were employed at AXA Mansard from 2018 to 2019 as the Head of Database Administration and Application Support. In this role, they supervised database administrators, initiated and oversaw projects, collaborated with other teams, and managed database servers.

Before AXA Mansard, Tochukwu worked at Diamond Bank PLC from 2012 to 2018. Tochukwu Regis held various roles during their time there, including Database Administrator, Application Support Officer, IT Service Desk Analyst, and Cash Services Officer. Their responsibilities ranged from database creation and administration to support and troubleshooting of enterprise applications.

Tochukwu also has experience from their earlier career. Tochukwu Regis worked as the Centre Manager at karROX Technologies Ltd. from 2009 to 2012, overseeing operations and management. Prior to that, they were a Faculty Officer/Students Affairs Coordinator at NIIT Limited from 2008 to 2009, where they taught and mentored students in Oracle Database Management.

Tochukwu Regis Onweagba attended Imo State University Owerri from 1999 to 2003, where they studied Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including ISO/IEC 22301:2019 (Business Continuity Management Systems) Foundation from Standards and Best Practice in 2023, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from TUV SUD in 2022, ISO 27001 Foundation - Information Security Certification from TUV SUD in 2022, ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in 2013, Oracle Database 9i Administrator - Professional (OCP) from Oracle in 2006, and Oracle Certified Associate - Oracle9i Database Administrator (OCA) from Oracle in 2005.
