Derek Taylor

Derek Taylor is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in consulting and transformation. Currently, Derek serves as a leader in Cybersecurity Leadership & Transformation at FSP since April 2024. Prior to this role, Derek worked at AlixPartners from February 2023 to April 2024, providing risk, compliance, and investigation services tailored for Board members and Executive leaders. Derek was also the Vice President and Head of Consulting & Professional Services for the Americas and EMEA at Trustwave, driving a significant turnaround in business performance. Earlier in their career, Derek held senior positions in IT risk consulting at EY, Grant Thornton, Duff & Phelps, and Infosys Consulting, and began with roles in IT risk management at Logica, RBS, Investec, and Citigroup. Derek holds an MBA with a specialization in IT Strategy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Management, and an honors degree in Computer & Electronic Systems.
